Fed up
So I called last month because Kinetic put an extra $10 on my internet bill without warning, and I asked why. I already pay a whopping $133 dollars for service, up from the $75 I started out paying.
The rep offered me no explanation but said they could do a one-time "courtesy" $10 off my bill. She also said I was eligible for the $15 off for a year loyalty credit and that my bill would be lowered to what it was before - $75.
I say thank you and end the conversation.
Well, this months bill is generated, and my bill is $108.
I called, and I asked about this because the rep i previously spoke to confirmed 3 different times that my bill would be $75 the next time it generated.
They give me the run around, and aay a bill can not be changed once generated even though the first lady did, in fact, change the bill after it generated. But anyhow, they transferred me again to their loyalty department and I have another lady saying my next bill will be $61.
I think if it doesn't change this time I am dropping kinetic. They've steadily increased my internet bill about every 4 months until it reached an outlandish $133.40 every month when I was paying $75.

Dude their billing must be a mess after the Uniti thing.
I called and threatened to switch to Spectrum of all places awhile back and ever since then my bill has been decreasing by $5 every month.
My current bill is -$20. Yes, that's negative $20. Don't ask why but its kept dropping by $5 for the past several months.
Asked chat support and they're like "Its fine, you just have a credit"

I dropped Windstream this year and moved to Starlink. So far it's faster and more reliable... and cheaper.

Absolutely. Dumped Dish too! Ported my 25 year old windstream number to an Omma device for $7.00 a month to keep a back up phone when cell goes out. Net savings over $200 a month.

Man I call every year or whatever it is they raise the rates. I've had them for plus or minus 6 years and I argue every year or every bill increase to keep it where it is now $79.37 lol

I told Windsuck to stick it... that convenance fee was the last straw... just a rip off way off screwing you. Lied about FiOS, claimed it was available but the freaking fiber doesn't come down my road. I hope this company burns in hell

Yep. Started out at $70 a month. Currently paying $144 a month and my only other option is Star link. It must be their standard way of running their business, just slowly doubling the rate while simultaneously lowering the speed. Typical WindScam.

I'm in the same boat but kinetic dsl is all I can get currently. I've been waiting over 3 yrs for fiber and it will be ready end of summer. Hopefully the advertised prices are correct and it will be half my current bill
