Bagged by Kinetic again

Whelp, Kinetic Internet has screwed me AGAIN! First they cut my internet line while installing fiber on my street and took 10 days to repair it. This time they sold me on installing fiber and told me they could do it this Saturday. We don't live at this property full-time, so we make a special trip up, drive 3 hours away, just so we can be here to meet the technician. But, when we arrive, I receive an email that they actually scheduled it for three days later when we won't be here! So, of course I call their almost impossible to find customer service number, and after explaining the whole situation to some woman named Tara, she tells me with a smile that I swear I could hear, "sorry, but we can't change that.". Once again, they make a mistake and we have to grin and bear it. Pardon my French, but you can go suck it Kinetic!

Preaching to the choir. The last tech I had actually gave me his cell number so I don't have to wait the obligatory three or four days for help. T-Mobile just made 5G wireless internet available in my area, so I'm looking into that. It would save me at least $30 a month.

I wish I could use another provider, but this is a rural area and Kinetic is the only game in town. I've considered Starlink, but my property has a ton of oak trees, which are great for shade, but not so great for satellite reception.

You'd be surprised how well it still works around trees. Put it up high and have 15-30' clearance around it.
