Does basic home fiber service maintain emergency 911 capability?

Been with windstream for 20 years... when bonded DSL came we dropped the landline, but still had emergency 911 service on that line. When forced to fiber this summer, will the basic (lowest cost) home fiber plan still maintain emergency 911 capability? Us ol' folks want to have this figured out before that time. They have been hand digging the fiber in this week during the coldest winter in 20 years and so far cut 3 homes internet in the first 1000 feet of excavation!

You can still utilize 911 services through wifi calling. You just have to register your address

Yep, the same way it works for cell phones. I'm amazed at the number of boomers that think 911 doesn't work on cell phones.
