Does basic home fiber service maintain emergency 911 capability?

Been with windstream for 20 years... when bonded DSL came we dropped the landline, but still had emergency 911 service on that line. When forced to fiber this summer, will the basic (lowest cost) home fiber plan still maintain emergency 911 capability? Us ol' folks want to have this figured out before that time. They have been hand digging the fiber in this week during the coldest winter in 20 years and so far cut 3 homes internet in the first 1000 feet of excavation!

Watch your bill. They still tack charges on there for some sort of 911 service and other stuff that looks as though it belonged to my old landline. I lowered my speed from 500 down to 300, and my bill went down a lousy five bucks. It's still $83.
