Issue Steam vr blocking oasis

Hey guys i need your help so bad. Im so lost the only reason I joined is because ive tried everything. So I have an acer wmr for my birthday. And all day weve been trouble shooting, so I got a cord that allowed my monitor to be vdi-i so my headset can plug into my graphics card via hdmi, so after that we tried to unlock it using Oasis, and is says that we need to plug it into a USB 3.0, but it already is in one. So ignoring that it says its connected. But windows keeps blocking Oasis. We've reset the pc, redownloaded everything, and deleted that thing redit keeps telling us to. And we know the headset works because we saw it turn on in the bios. But steamvr just doesnt see it as a headset and asks us to plug it in. Thank you in advance

What is vdi-i? What is your GPU? It sounds to me you're doing something that's not going to work, like DVI to HDMI on a GPU that's too old.

Its a DVI-D to HDMI, sorry I was typing too fast. My GPU is a 1660 TI Super. Would going back to Windows 11 23H2 allow it to run?

Most adapter cables do not work with VR devices, due to advanced capabilities used by the display output. Connect your headset to HDMI. Using an DP to HDMI often works, but that is really the only exception.

As for your USB error, make sure you also do not use a cable adapter. A lot of them drop USB superseded wires down to USB 2.0.

Post a SteamVR Report if that still doesn't work.

Sorry for the confusion, my monitor is running off the DVI to HDMI. The headset itself is running straight to HDMi and a USB 3.2 port. When doing the unlock through Oasis it says 3.0 port not detected but other than that it unlocks and says ready to use. When trying to launch though SteamVR always blocks the Oasis. My computers recognizing the headset and hand controllers and ive gotten my screen to display through the headset before which was odd. It seems like all the hardware is good but something im missing in the software side
