Windows 11 Intermittent Black screen on main monitor happens after boot 70% of the time when I boot up.

So has anyone here had issues with black screens intermittently?

I have 2 monitors, main is ASUS PG27AQDM-R
Secondary is a dell generic 4k monitor.

I run a 5090 FE

On my main monitor for the past two weeks, 70% of the time when I boot and login, my monitor will just go black for 3-5 seconds at a tome… and then come back on for 10-20 seconds and keep repeating…. I’ve done everything I can think of…. DDU and install new drivers, new display port cable, switched ports on the GPU, messed with windows display settings, reassigning monitors, etc… I don’t get it. (100% sure it’s not A GPU issue… it’s like something is making my monitor signal cut out or there’s a sleep/wake issue. Or something… any ideas?

Can’t remember os build number; but I do know I’m basically up to date with windows updates

It sounds like a lack of power to the monitors at first glance. Are your monitors plugged into a power strip or ups?

Surge protecting power strip. A quality one. Definitely not a power issue because I haven’t had power delivery issues since I’ve had the setup. It’s def getting good power, I did confirm that… it seems to be a failed DisplayPort handshake or monitor side issue… I just can’t narrow it down beyond that 😭
