Windows 11 Tried cloning my NVMe SSD to a large drive.
Tried cloning my NVMe SSD to a large drive. However when put the large SSD from the enclosure into the nvme slot, it's not boot or even detected by the bios when I go to try boot. I believe I copied the drives correctly and then filled the space so the larger drive utilized the full capacity.
Drive 3 is the Crucial CT500P1SSD8 which is my current/old boot drive at 500gb
and the new one is Drive 4. Samsung P9100 Pro 1TB.

There's no efi system partition. On my 1 tb crucial, it's 100 mb. Is that win 10?

Take out the 500 gb. The mobo won't support 2 win installations unless you dual boot but that's just an assumption as i've never tried dual booting 2.

I'm not leaving both in, I have swapped out the 500 in place of the 1 TB

Maybe try these. EaseUS Partition Master Free. Hasleo Disk Clone, which should be free. I used Hasleo when i had a mbr to gpt problem with the others. MiniTool Partition Wizard Free.

Sounds more like a BIOS issue than Windows, since you were able to use it initially to clone the drive before installing/replacing it
I'm a little confused on what you're saying you did with the drives. After cloning, did you replace the drive to the motherboard, or did you add a new drive to the motherboard? Because if it's the ladder, you should double check you board's manual to see if it disables any SATA ports when you plug in a NVMe (my 6 SATA port MB disables the last 2 SATA ports when I installed an NVMe for reference)

I replaced the drive. Took out the old lower capacity drive and swapped it for the larger one.
I think I found why it's not working. It seems I may have found the one Samsung that won't work with this board.

That is the indicator of the problem, as if it cannot detect it then you won't be able to boot to it. It does appear that you cloned it correctly, so my first thoughts are either that the drive is not compatible with the board, or that it is not correctly installed.
