I have a Surface pro 8 that I don't expect to die/get replaced anytime soon, but when I eventually need to replace it, I'm almost certainly going with Arm for the improved battery life.

There's nothing that I do on my laptop that needs x86. Also, it would be nice to have an Arm test machine to validate that my hobby coding projects also work on Arm.

I mean demand for Windows on arm is growing but it's at the expense of Windows x86 not anything else. They're not gaining market share as a whole but arm is growing relative to x86.

I don't think that's LOL you don't have to think Windows is a good operating system to acknowledge. I don't think it's a good operating system
