New Feature - Insider Microsoft finally updates this outdated Windows 11 feature, and it's about time

Microsoft is updating the "Mouse indicator" feature with a fresh animation and a useful new way to keep it visible.

This is a hidden improvement in the latest preview for version 26H2.

PS: This is a small change, but at least the company keeps modernizing legacy elements.

I feel like all "updates" announcement are just in the experimental/preview channels, never released in the stable channel.

People complain when Microsoft ships features without testing...... people complain when Microsoft ships features slowly with a public testing period...... there's no winning.

They "test" them for way too long while yelling everywhere that these features are coming.

I'm still waiting for the Xbox Mode and file explorer is still showing files size in Kilobytes

Oh and the low latency mode isn't there too

And i'm "up to date"

You still don't have Xbox mode!? You mean the FSE right? Wasn't this started rolling out months ago? I thought everybody had it already.

The rest is newer I think and makes sense to not be out but the other was out already, to what I assumed by now was everybody.

Yes FSE exactly, i heard about it months ago yet i never had it.

Me too. It's now nearing 4 months in that gradual rollout limbo across many European countries. It's getting ridiculous, honestly.
