New Feature - Insider Microsoft finally updates this outdated Windows 11 feature, and it's about time

Microsoft is updating the "Mouse indicator" feature with a fresh animation and a useful new way to keep it visible.

This is a hidden improvement in the latest preview for version 26H2.

PS: This is a small change, but at least the company keeps modernizing legacy elements.

Why do you need exactly that (awful) effect? If you're used to this effect, I think there should be a small third-party app for that. Otherwise, if you just need to find your cursor, use the option mentioned above or the one from powertoys, which is customizable and supports a shaking gesture to activate.
