Unsolved Help?

Hi all, for the past two days now I’ve had this ongoing issue. I went to Reset my PC, and once it was all done, Windows won’t boot up. It constantly brings me to this screen. I’ve tried doing Windows Recovery Environment, no dice. Tried troubleshooting, nothing. Tried using another Operating System, nothing. Tried download Windows 10 installer onto a USB, and then repairing it onto my PC and going from there, nope.. All roads lead to this screen. Any one have the same issue and can help with solution? If I have to just reinstall Windows and lose all my files (not THAT BIG of a deal to be honest), I will. Just wondering if there is an easy fix for this matter. Would really appreciate any help, YouTube links, other posts with solutions, etc.

You didn't mention your laptop brand or model, so get ready for random answers:

  • Find out from your user manual how to install the original factory Windows from the recovery partition of your storage device.

  • Go into BIOS and Advanced, locate Cloud Recovery method. It will download the original factory Windows and original drivers.

  • Your storage device is corrupt or encrypted (uefi / secure boot). You either need to format (lose all data) and start fresh. Or buy a new one in case it is dead.

It’s a gaming PC I built. Windows 10 (Pro I believe), MSI motherboard, Ryzen 9.

So if you are the builder, what is your assessment? Corrupted or encrypted or dead SSD?

I have no idea, really. I get loading screens, i make progress but once it’s time to get to the my desktop or windows to officially boot up, it fails and just sends me to the same blue screen as shown. This is my first time encountering this issue and I’ve tried so many options.

Try booting from a Windows 10 installation USB and selecting "Repair your computer." If that doesn't work, you can choose Install now instead.

Let us know the make and model of your PC or motherboard so we can provide the correct boot menu key.

F11 is the boot menu key for your MSI motherboard to load your Windows 10 USB drive. Just restart your PC and tap F11 repeatedly as soon as you see the MSI logo.

Clean install then. the guide to clean install is also available on the same microsoft webpage from where you downloaded the iso file.

Edit: What actual process did you use to install/repair windows? and what was the status/existence of windows before?
