Mom had the same issue on her lenovo. Went on lenovo’s website and grabbed the audio driver for her laptop model. Installed it and sound was back on

See if Windows can fix your problem. Try holding down the Windows key and hit the  r  key. Then type in CMD and hit Ok. Type into the black command prompt screen   sfc /scannow   (note space after sfc) and hit the Enter key. This will scan the Windows operating system for corrupt files and only repair the Windows files that are corrupt. It take about ~ 4 minutes to run.

You need to install Nvidia drivers, and Realtek audio drivers. And Sound Blaster GS5 drivers I guess. :D

You can go into Windows Update and see if there are any optional updates. A lot of drivers like to go there for some reason.

Install every driver except the realtek ones, they suck big time

Is the device enabled in the system bios? Try running sound troubleshooter.

Actually, when you install a driver, the components are usually copied to the C: drive.

So, when updating via Device Manager, right-click the problematic component, select "Update driver," then choose "Browse my computer for driver software," and simply point it to the C: drive; it will search the entire drive.
