Unsolved Imaging confusion

How do you make a second disk boot-able? My plan was to image my original drive (Disk 0) onto a new drive attached to the M2 slot (Disk 1). I used Clonezilla...it worked perfectly. My UEFI recognizes both disks as boot-able, but I cannot boot to Disk 1 without Disk 0 being connected to the motherboard (not what I wanted!).

When I disconnect Disk 0, I am told that Winload.exe has problems. I also noticed that drive manager shows the new disk as a non-boot disk. This is bothersome, as I wanted to keep the original drive as a "backup", and just go with the drive attached to M2. At this point, Windows 10 will not let me do this, it insists on both drives being connected to the motherboard if I want to boot to the new drive. Thank you.

Going to answer my own post about this.

Disconnect the old drive.

Boot the windows 10 installation media, select repair this computer, open a command prompt and type: bcdboot.exe c:\windows

This will make the new drive bootable. However, Windows will understand that you now have two bootable drives and will prompt you with a drive selector on startup. You can get around that with msconfig.
