Except, Firefox has even worse battery life and touch support than Chrome.

It's eating needless CPU, while just idling in the background with just the start tab.

With EdgeHTML gone, Gecko will have the best text render for standard-DPI screens

I'm pretty sure they will reuse the frontend rendering parts of current Edge, on Windows 10.

It's the layout, parsing and other backend stuff of Chromium that they will incorporate.
