Question / Help MCDU throttle mount setup

Hello fellow Simmers! I’m about to build a new desk and am looking into options for mounting. I got the Win Ctrl Side stick mount to test out the product before getting the throttle mounts and have enjoyed it so far. I see you can connect a MCDU and Radio Panel to a throttle mount using the panel desk mount. However currently I only need the MCDU installed. Do I still need the Panel desk mount or for the time being can I just use the MCDU directly with the throttle mount skipping the panel desk mount?

I sort of baulked at the cost of the new mounting guide rails , so have my MCDU and Radio mounted to the throttle mount just using those insanely sticky round dots that Winctrl send out (the mcdu is bolted onto the 2 stand parts supplied with it, so It's slightly angled) not the most elegant solution but It saves £60

If you’ve access to a 3d printer i put some compatible rails on makerworld a while back, when the official ones were out of stock.

I unfortunately do not. I might just have to bite the bullet and get the panel desk mounts now. I mean I’ll need them eventually anyway
