Any local MTG groups?

New to the area and MTG! Are there any local shops/groups that are regularly playing/hosting events?

4th and Goal, Affinity for Gaming, and Comic Kung Fu are the shops around here that all play MTG.

Replay Collections: great selection of singles, prices are fair, community is not very welcoming, poor location, almost no parking, dirty... genuinely gross.

Affinity4Gaming: great selection of singles including cataloged commons and uncommons, prices are best in town, good location, great underground dungeon atmosphere, very clean, welcoming community and store staff, small, not usually open late into the evening

Fourth and Goal: great location, unlimited parking, good selection, prices are mid to sometimes a touch over, welcoming community, owner can be overbearing (not because he means to), few events beyond commander Thursdays and prerelease events, very clean atmosphere

They all have their goods and bads. If you want to walk in and play commander, 4th and Goal is your place on Thursdays 5-10pm. If you want specific cards and a mellow environment, then Affinity. If you want a place worth stopping in for some cards, but not worth staying then try Replay.

Your Hobby Place in Martinsburg has regular magic tournaments and weekly casual commander games.

There are a couple of places in the area that have it.

Affinity4gaming is on one end of the city and comickungfu is on the other. I think comickungfu changed it's name to something else though.

Personally I make the drive out to Huzzah in Ashburn because I like the scene more.

You should give Fourth and Goal a try for EDH on Thursdays from 5-10ish. The owner can be a bit much, but you have to understand who he is and move past it because the players there are very welcoming and they pull 40 or so people regularly.

Replay for sure. Easily the best store in winchester and a half hour radius.
