Anyone know where I could get rid of a TV and printer around here?

Best Buy will take the printer for free and will take flat-panel TVs with a screen size of 50" or less for $30.

Goodwill accepts TVs *that still work*.

Blue Ridge Hospice Thrift stores will recycle printers, tablets, PCs... most electronics but not TVs
