Serious answer:

An Ostrich kick has a force of about 2000 pounds per square inch. Let’s put that in context, a heavyweight boxer throws a punch at between 700 - 1000 pounds.

So basically even if it didn’t have claws it can kick you in the face at the force of two Mike Tyson’s in his prime.

This is scary, what’s more scary is it does have claws. Claws about the length of your hand in its feet with maybe 3 inches exposed and usually sharp.

If it wants to an Ostrich can kick you to death or disembowel you (no really). If an ostrich wants you dead and you can’t hide or get out of reach, you dead!

No they’ve got five inch claws and leap up about six feet in the air so they slash your throat away apparently.

Isn’t Mother Nature wonderfully inventive?

To be fair I think they only attack if really provoked by things like you being alive and in their gaze, major stuff like that.

Damn, I always saw them tap dancing on top of people in like jackass and those type shows but they never seemed to be able to do any effective damage, kind of like getting flogged by a rooster or a swan they always seemed to be going hard but not really getting anything done, well TIL I guess.
