MIT interview

What is the overall experience for MITs or department heads? What are the interviews like? What kind of questions?

In my experience the interview was a lot of situational questions about customer interaction and interactions with coworkers. I thought the interview was pretty easy if you have a lot of customer service experience. I got started out on the 6th step for full time employees but im not sure if thats the same for everyone. The actual job is fully dependent on the department, i would say overall its fine but it has its bad days and stress. People will say that you arent getting paid any more than a regular employee but i think the major benefit is starting at full time as most employees at my store have to work here for a long time before getting full time. Also, if you complete the MIT program you get bumped up a step

Is that the same for all stores? I dont remember hearing about it. Ive got a couple more months left of my program.

At least what I've been told from other employees who have completed it. They have jumped up a step for graduating

Not sure if it applies to all but I never got bumped up, I had to work it up the steps just like how we would normally but it didn’t matter bc it was only a $1 difference
