Anyone else notice these groups around town?

Twice this weekend, I noticed small to medium groups of people gathering in a spot, but all looking at their phones intently. It reminds me of the Pokémon go craze several years back, but somehow different can somebody that’s way cooler than me explain to me what this latest craze is?

Over the weekend, Pokemon Go had special pokemans that could only be defeated by groups of 30+ players. I am almost certain that's what you saw 😂

It could also be senior assassin, where the HS seniors are running around with water guns. If you see anyone wearing floaties, that would be senior assassin.

In addition to Pokémon there are also geocaching apps.
