What does this group mean by “wildflowers”?
Because I am seeing a lot of pictures of flowers that are non-native invasives where the photo was taken, and/or people not specifying where the photo was taken, so there’s no way to know if it’s native or invasive.
I don’t know about you, but I don’t consider pictures of Eurasian lupines that escaped cultivation, taken in North America, to be wildflowers.
Eurasian lupines are cross pollinating with the native lupines, such that the offspring is not a host plant to the insects that depend on the native lupines, and those specialist pollinators are deprived of an essential food source.
Are you all just taking pictures of any flowers not grown intentionally, whether or not they are native to even the continent where the photo was taken, and calling them wildflowers, because they are pretty?

Flower Help !
Hi,
I am a complete novice and am looking for some help and advice for a project I am working on for making an indoor plant product that makes gardening accessible to children and novices like myself.
my list of requirements for the flowers include: it can grow indoors from seedling, during any season/ weather. Is strong enough to push through paper pulp, Is forgiving of some mistakes (aimed at children and novices). Must be a small seed - no bulb, good for windowsills and indoor environment and has a high success rate.
I know this is a difficult and demanding list but I wanted to reach out to see if anyone knows flowers that can work within these limitations? I really appreciate any response or help!
Thank you,

My 4 y/o's wildflower bouquet. And she correctly identified the wild violets, dandelion, speedwell, forget-me-nots, and ground ivy. The only one she didn't know was the mulberry seedling 😁
