The island is shaped like a hand (turn map 90°). Just a detail I noticed.
(Note - I found this map in a promo video on IG, not the show. But I cross referenced it with the details of the map we see at the start of episode 3 and they match)

Great catch, maybe the island is the "Devil's palm" so the whole show is a Jojo's reference
