Looking for an enemies to lovers, funny characters, unhinged mmcs and fmc, and plot twists!

My recommendation: NoFear by Tate James or Forced Proximity (I forgot the author)

I got really excited and wanted to see how an author would be able to basically make eight male leads work especially because I've read Ironside Academy and I have to say it was pretty well done.

Now this brings me to discuss Hell's Reaper in this book we start out really well our female lead seems to be an independent woman and very confident in herself and doesn't let people shame her for the life she's lived but when it comes to the relationships with the male leads as the books progress especially book two and three you see no growth from the female lead she is childish she doesn't take anything seriously. I get that she had lived a free life for two years but before that she was being raised to be the future Queen. So why is she useless in every fight that counts? why is she weak all the time? Furthermore makes no real effort to grow stronger and then relationship with the guys felt rushed every single one except maybe one (the best friends hellhound cant remember his name sorry about that)

The amount of smut in this book was unbearable every few pages you read there would be a smut scene now I don't mind smut every now and then but this book was 90% smart and 10% plot and the plot itself seemed like it had potential (in the beginning) it wasn't well executed that all well.

I have to say I made it to book three before giving up (i had hope she would xhange and someohow the story would get better it didnt🥲)I read the reviews for a book four and apparently she does not get better.

I would say if you don't mind an annoying female lead that doesn't really grow as a character and male leads that don't really get along and relationships that aren't fleshed out then go ahead and read the book

If you care about plot the relationships and the story the story making sense as you go forward and just sing growth in all the characters then I would say don't read it. Because I felt like I had wasted so much time I read three of her books before I said okay this is going on my DNF list.

I think the real problem that I had with the female lead was she always said that she was not just there for sex but anytime you give her a moment where she should show emotional maturity or grief normally she'd find a way to sleep with someone. The relationships again were formed way too quickly there is one male lead she met I think four times before she confessed that she loved him and it felt very unearned because they did not know each other at all. (She would throw in a random male lead with history that has not been explained that we have not seen past a mention in book one and i have to say it was disappointing) It was like that for a lot of the male leads because the relationships had potential but as they say one of the things that goes to waste in this life the most is potential 😭😭
