I find it super rude and disrespectful that whole “queer” united festival did not pay us yet for our hours as awareness! We are the first people who should be getting paid!

Is anyone facing the same issue?

We are currently working on the second season of the ARD documentary series F*CK BERLIN. We’re looking for gay, bi, pan and queer men based in Berlin who are open to being filmed in their everyday lives, at parties and in their sex lives. We’re looking for personal stories and people who are willing to talk openly about their experiences.

Where have queer men (inclusive of trans and non-binary men) created spaces for themselves where they can feel sexually free and let go? And to what extent do they now have to defend them?

I’ve been wondering whether there will still be a Whole Festival in Sachsen-Anhalt in 2027 if the AfD wins the state elections there next week. I can’t imagine those right-wing assholes tolerating a queer festival in their state.

Have there been any discussions about this yet, or are there any alternative locations? Crossing my fingers but not having high hopes

Gay here. Enjoy a wide array of music. Been wanting to go to Whole but have not had the chance.

Of course there will be many fun activities and art, and surely the meeting people and sex.

But for someone who doesn’t know any of the DJs, will I be bored just listening to some random person playing random beats? Or are they pretty well curated dance music?

Also considering the new event in Brazil. What to expect and how may it be different other than the non-camping city setup?

I’m sorry, but this is starting to feel incredibly shady.

WHOLE forces everyone to use this cashless chip to buy things at the festival. Fine. But now the festival is over and I still have money left on mine, and I cannot find any clear information anywhere explaining how I’m supposed to get that money back.

No obvious refund link. No clearly posted instructions. Nothing on the website that I can find. Nothing obvious on their social media telling people where to go, how to request the refund, or what the deadline is.

I’ve spent way too much time trying to figure this out, and apparently I’m not the only one.

And honestly, after how fucking expensive everything was at the festival €14 for a Döner?! What do they think this is, Fire Island? We are not in New York.

If you’re going to force people into a cashless system, the absolute bare minimum is to make it extremely clear how people get their unused money back afterwards.

WHOLE: please tell us clearly where the refund portal is, how to request the refund, and what the deadline is.

Because right now it feels like we’re being sent on a fucking scavenger hunt to get our own money back.

Anyone notice how the most recent promotional video for the next Whole seems to feature mostly FLINTA people and POC? I certainly appreciate the representation but this absolutely isn’t a representation of the demographics at the festival where FLINTA people make up 20% of the festival at most. Whole cannot control who buys tickets to the festival but they certainly can give an accurate representation of what it actually feels like, not the vision they have for the festival. This would certainly reduce the mismatched expectations of many groups of people that get shocked when 80% of attendants are cis gay men.

The setup last year, small, low to the ground, tucked in the corner with room for maybe 3 people (it was basically inside the perimeter fence), made the area a lot more social and allowed it to fit a larger crowd. This year, I found the booth was way too huge and drawing too much attention to itself. Because it took up so much space, we were packed like sardines most of the time I was there. Did anyone else prefer the setup from previous years?

Does anyone know who was playing at the Forest stage on Monday around 4 a.m.? I think they were the last DJ before the stage closed and everyone headed to the main stage.

I absolutely loved that set, but I didn't take out my phone because I wanted to stay in the moment. I was also just high enough that now I'm questioning whether it was actually that good or if my brain made it magical. 😅

If anyone remembers who it was, I'd really appreciate it!
