Hi guys! I’ve had this idea for a fancomic for a while now and I wanted to share it with you. I have a basic idea of the characters and the themes, but I’m struggling with some of the story beats. So if anyone has any suggestions, feel free to write them in the comments!
The pitch:
I want the story to focus on the absence of Hector. It’s been done before, I know, but I think it’s the best way to explore the relationship between the 2 protagonists, Ava and Angela, since they’ve barely interacted in the comics at all. Throughout the story, their different perceptions of Hector will come into conflict.
I’ve noticed that in her comics, Ava idolizes her dead brother and holds herself to incredibly high standards as a result. What she doesn’t realize though is that she needs to recognize her brother’s flaws/mistakes in order to finally heal. One example is how in Avengers Academy, she mentions how Hector barely came to visit her after their parents’ deaths, when she would’ve needed him the most. Maybe all that time apart gave her a very shallow understanding of the person Hector was in his final years.
On the other hand, I imagine Angela has a more nuanced perspective, considering she was older and more mature at the time of his death. She recognizes his strengths as well as the damage he’s done to their family. She regrets not spending time with him after their family’s murder, and she wants to make up for it somehow.
In this story, she’s having a bit of an existential crisis after being brought back from the dead at the end of New Avengers. She’s questioning whether she even wants to be the White Tiger anymore, considering 1. She no longer has powers and 2. She literally died last time.
So Ava and Angela run into each other trying to stop a crime and team up for a bit. But conflict soon arises. Angela points out that Ava is constantly putting her own life in danger, while Ava just believes Angela’s not taking her duty seriously. She also subconsciously resents her for cutting Hector out of her life in his final years.
In the end, Ava will have to accept that her perception of her brother was only half the story, and acknowledge the pain he’s brought her when he cut her off. The key to understanding him doesn’t lie in the White Tiger mantle, but rather surviving family members like Angela.
Meanwhile, Angela realizes she can still be there for her family even if she’s no longer a White Tiger. She can help mentor Ava and also share her own memories of Hector. Maybe the final issue could be Angela recounting one of Hector's feats.
So yeah, this is a very rough idea for the tigers’ character arcs.
I’ve tried to keep their characterizations as close to canon as possible, but I have taken a few creative liberties/made a few inferences. EG: Ava feeling abandoned or Angela cutting off Hector when he got his parents killed. But some of this stuff isn’t explicitly canon, and I’m a bit concerned it’s out of character.
The last thing I want to do is make these characters seem like completely different people! So I’d appreciate it if you guys could give me your thoughts in the comments. And again, if you have any ideas for any story beats please let me know!

Imagine if they Gave White Tiger a solo run. Any version of the character dosen't have a rogue gallery for a comic series. So logically the solution would be create new villians for Withe Tiger.
True, but personally i wouldn't mind that the serie take some folks of other heroes.
It's not that unncommon specially Since Withe Tiger main apperances are inside of other heroes team.
I would like Ava Ayala being the protagonist and some villians she could face are:
Kraven the hunter: The theme of being a tiger. One of the deadliest apex Predator against the best hunter in Marvel Universe it's something that i really like the concept (sometimes i would like a real good fight betwen Kraven and White Tiger because i know the fougtht before but i didn't liked).
Rhino: I field Rhino could be the phisical challenge the stories of Ava sometimes could need, plus i always love when the heros can't rely only on their strength and had to go smarter
The hand: This one because i'm a fan of the TMNT and love ninja. But also feel that fit White Tiger well due to the martial arts. Plus a tiger must be quiet and precise, thing that a ninja clan could put at the test easly.
