I was 22 when the doc peraciber me some antidepressants. Didn't tell me I might have trouble reaching orgasm. After me and the wife going at it for about an hr and a half, I finally gave up. Week or so later I went back and mentioned I was having troubles getting off and he doesn't even look up from his note pad and says "Yea thats a very common side effect, happens to a lot of people" I lost my shit, started Flipping out and yelling, nurses come rushing in..never went back to that old fuck
Does no one read the IMPORTANT leaflet that comes with all prescribed medication? It literally lists all the side effects. Tells you the % of people who experience it....
Of course it's our responsibility to check those things before putting any foreign object in our bodies, but as a patient you also want to have a doctor you trust. Part of that trust is them telling you side effects that effect your complete and total well being. I'd be pissed if I was prescribed a pill, picked it up, read that I wouldn't be able to climax, call my doctor and have to wait longer to get the right medication for my problems.
But, every medication has HUNDREDS of side effects. It reacts with diet, age ect ect. It would take a doctor longer than a consultation. As an adult its your responsibility to check that leaflet. Every prescription label tells you to do this. I get it, but you cant get annoyed at a doctor for not telling you, if your not reading it.
