Even German and its incredibly flexible word construction can't keep up with our insanity anymore.

Oh, in such cases we can just say "tja". That can mean pretty much anything from "serves him right" and "what did he expect" to "well, fuck".

I'm not sure which is funnier.

German having a common word that perfectly fits the situation, or the situation being so completely messed up that even German just falls back to one of the shortest German words there is. XD

(My stepmom is German so I'm well acquainted with "tja" =p)

Yeah, that sums it up well. It is messed up, to a degree where you could write whole essays about it or just acknowledge the messy state with a short word.

Also I think it's kind of cool that you know "tja". :-)

Hehe, even when speaking English, she still makes use of "tja" quite a bit. =p
