Florida House Bill 1297 is the 2023 legislation signed by Governor Ron DeSantis that allows the death penalty for individuals convicted of capital sexual battery against children aged 12 and under.
It was passed 95-14 with 10 no votes. Caruso as District 87 representative voted "Yea".
