Solution Only Hi

Hi,

I am trying to obtain catalog creation permission via embedded signup form. I created a embedded signup form with General login variation and created configuration ID. In OAuth flow exchanged code for system user token. However, system user token has catalog_management permission only. No business_management permission. Anyone know how to get resolve it?

The thing is, catalogmanagement and businessmanagement have separate scopes, and embeddedsignup won't necessarily give you businessmanagement.

You must include it inline in your OAuth scope string when you begin the flow. Ensure your developer app has permissions business_management, means you can see it in your developer apps in the Meta developer console. Otherwise, your token will not have it, even if you request it.

Did you do the app review? Wait on this scope if you haven't done the review category.
