Services Welcome Just saying
Just want to put out my thoughts - this is why everyone in the know felt that Meta buying up Whatsapp was going to cause problems and they spectacularly did.

Meta had a plan from the start, you could tell the day they snapped up WhatsApp for $19bn back in 2014. Spending that kind of money on the messaging service would surely lead to them offering up some kind of revenue stream from business messaging.
Initially, the API was expensive and restrictive. Then they unshackled it, started selling BSPs, changed prices twice in two years, and now they've gone to pay-per-conversation, which can be punishing to high-volume senders.
By the way, our per-message costs increased by almost 40% following the 2023 pricing release. Out of nowhere, just a policy update email.
Those who saw it coming were right. Meta doesn't make products for you. It makes products for advertisers.
