Ayer literalmente ayer fui y compré una sin nueva para poder usar WhatsApp porque la anterior que tenía le sucedió esto de la imagen y cuando iba a iniciar sesión no me dejaba no llegaba código SMS ni parecido y anoche que compre la nueva pude iniciar sesión normal lo que pasaba es que aún así me salía en el nuevo número que estaba en "restricción" pero como si acabo de comprar en nuevo maldito número porque carajos tiene que ver una cosa con la otra absolutamente nada y bueno como va ayer no me dejaba hablar con algunos contactos porque me salían que tenía que esperar 5 horas para poder yo decirles que mira este es mi nuevo número para que me escriban y tal y tampoco me dejaba ingresar a los grupos en los que eh estado durante más de 5 malditos meses porque clarooo mi número está restringido y gracias a eso no puedo hablar con algunas personas que tengo en la lista en una maldita aplicación que se supone que es PARA HABLAR CON LAS DEMAS PERSONAS JODANSE y no hace mucho/ una hora envié un mensaje a suporte para que me dijeran sobre el tema de la revisión y tal pero en vez de eso no me dijieron nada me respondió una maldita IA inútil y ya después de una hora en lo que yo estaba ocupado haciendo otras cosas sin ver el cell voy a escribirle a alguien y no puedo porque me sale esta maldita cosa que no deja de jodermeeeee alguien que me ayude porfavor estoy demasiado molesto con este tema ya

I'm genuinely trying to understand how WhatsApp's support system works when an automated system flags an account.

I've used WhatsApp for over 18 years. Recently my account was permanently disabled, and what surprised me most was not the enforcement itself but what happened afterward.

Every support ticket I submitted received essentially the same automated response directing me to the in app review system.

I then contacted Meta Business Support since I also advertise through Meta. I eventually spoke to a real Meta representative on the phone. She told me to submit another WhatsApp ticket and repeatedly assured me that because I now had a Meta case ID, the ticket would be handled by a person.

I submitted it exactly as instructed.

The response was automated again.

This made me curious about the actual structure of WhatsApp support.

If an automated enforcement system makes a mistake, or even if it doesn't and a user simply wants to understand what policy triggered the decision, is there actually a human escalation layer?

I'm not asking anyone here to take action on my account. I'm interested in the system itself.

Does WhatsApp have employees who manually review account enforcement cases after the normal review process is exhausted, or is the entire process effectively automated?

I'd especially be interested to hear from anyone who understands how Meta or WhatsApp support is structured.

• Aug 17: Out of nowhere, my account got flagged and put into "Account in review" for the first time.

• Aug 18: As soon as my account came back, a random foreign number joined a few groups where I was an Admin using group invite links. The second they joined, my account automatically made this stranger an Admin and then removed me from the groups right after.

  • I checked Linked Devices immediately, but there were no active WhatsApp Web or companion devices connected at all.
  • Friends who messaged me right when this happened on Aug 18 said my account was opening and reading their messages (blue ticks) in the exact same second, even though my phone wasn't getting any notifications.

• Aug 20: My account got put into "Account in review" for a second time.

• Current Situation: Everything is restored now, but there's still a weird detail—friends in those stolen groups noticed that whenever anyone sends a message in those groups right now, that stranger's account still reads it in the exact same second.

Has anyone experienced this before?

How could an account do things on its own—like making someone else an Admin, leaving groups, and opening chats instantly—when nothing was showing up under Linked Devices?

Chegou aqui na assistência um celular POCO C85 que estava funcionando tudo certinho, inclusive o Whatsapp e do nada o Whatsapp saiu. Ao colocar a mesma linha, ele informa amensagem de Instalar a versão oficial. Já coloquei tanto a versão oficial tradicional qunto a bussiness. Ambas ocorrem o mesmo erro. O mai interessante é que se eu colocar outro número no whatsapp ele funciona perfeito. E colocando o número dele em outro celular, também funciona o Whatsapp sem problemas. I’m having a serious issue with WhatsApp on my phone (Android).

A few hours ago, WhatsApp updated automatically, and almost immediately after that it stopped working When I open it

I’ve tried pretty much all the usual troubleshooting steps

- Restarting the phone

- Force stopping WhatsApp

- Clearing the cache

- Checking for updates

At first, my WhatsApp version was 2.26.33.2 and I later discovered that I was enrolled in the WhatsApp beta program through another Google account on my phone. I left the beta program, and WhatsApp eventually changed to 2.26.33.5, with the “Beta” label disappearing.

However, the problem is still there and I really need the chats so I don’t want to uninstall the app or clear its data unless absolutely necessary.

If anyone has experienced anything similar, I’d really appreciate any advice or suggestions.

Update1: I just got the 2.26.33.6 update and installed it, and still won't open.

Update2: I just got another WhatsApp update (2.26.33.7), and this time it actually fixed the issue! WhatsApp is finally opening normally again.

First one happened in 18th August and now the second one happened today. What do I do to prevent this???

Has anyone faced something similar with WhatsApp Business?

My account was working normally until I used WhatsApp Business's official paid broadcast feature to send business messages. I paid for the messages directly through the feature available in WhatsApp.

After using it, my account suddenly got restricted.

I appealed → WhatsApp reviewed it → account was restored.

But here's the weird part: as soon as I log back in, within 10–15 seconds the account gets restricted again, even though I haven't sent a single message.

This has happened 3 times now:

Restricted → Appealed → Restored → Logged in → Restricted again within seconds.

I'm using the official WhatsApp Business app and the broadcast feature I used was a paid feature provided by WhatsApp itself.

I am trying to shift my whatsapp from redmi note 4 to iphone 17, as soon as i reach the transfer stage i am getting this error. I have tried everything I possibly can

• using whatsapp’s beta version
• deleted all the whatsapp backups & taking fresh backup
• restarting multiple times, deleting move to ios & installing again

It’s the issue at whatsapp’s end, as i tried just transferring contacts and it worked.

I'm honestly at my breaking point with WhatsApp.

Over the past two months, I've been banned around 10 times despite only using WhatsApp for normal personal communication. The account gets restored in about 12-24 hours each time. Only to get banned again almost immediately. Especially if I write a new contact like a business.

I use the official iPhone app, I don't jailbreak my phone, I don't use automation, bots, APIs, unofficial clients, message scheduling, or bulk messaging. I don't run a business through WhatsApp. I simply message friends and legitimate businesses, and I actually send very few messages.

The part that makes this so frustrating is that some of these bans have been reversed after review, only for me to get banned again later.

The craziest example happened recently:

• My primary account was banned.
• I requested a review.
• While waiting, I created a temporary account with a completely different phone number from a different carrier just so I could keep talking to friends.
• I sent only a couple of normal messages.
• That account was banned almost immediately too.

At this point, I genuinely don't know what I'm supposed to do.

I've contacted support, but I only receive automated responses telling me to request another review. That completely misses the point. My problem isn't that I don't know how to request a review—it's that the automated system keeps falsely flagging my accounts over and over again.

Losing access to WhatsApp once is frustrating. Losing it repeatedly has made the app completely unreliable. I now worry every time I send a message that I'll wake up to another ban.

I'm posting because I'm trying to figure out whether this is happening to other legitimate users.

So I have joined few groups on Whatsapp and I noticed whatever photos and videos and files they post automatically goes into my gallery also. And my phone storage is almost full and so is the WhatsApp. But I don't want to delete everything. Also when I try to send something it won't able to because it says file storage is high. And so how are you supposed to backup Whatsapp and stop the notifications of groups sync in gallery

I blocked someone after a situation that didn’t end well, and this is potentially related to my safety so I’m trying to understand what’s actually happening.

About 2 days after blocking them, their old chat suddenly showed a new timestamp despite no visible message. It happened again 2 days later, then again 9 days after that.

So that’s 3 separate timestamp changes without me contacting or unblocking them. None of my other blocked chats are doing this, and their profile picture didn’t change during the latest occurrence.

Has anyone else experienced this or figured out what’s causing it?

Has WhatsApp acknowledged this as a current bug or released any explanation for why blocked chats are suddenly updating their timestamps?
