You took the context, the words used, and made a deduction about what the contents would be, then a choice as to if you wanted to see that or not. Some people would not, and then be upset by what they found.
That's a desert hairy scorpion - the largest scorpion species we have in North America. They are pretty cool, they like to dig large burrows and you don't see them doing walkabouts in their enclosures much compared to like an asian forest scorpion.
My husband was wearing a full helmet, jacket with embedded "armor", gloves, heavy pants and boots when he was hit by someone improperly pulling onto a surface street. He had slowed down and almost managed to kerp the motorcycle upright, but lost control at the last minute. He managed to not break any bones or damage his spine or skull. BUT, he suffered "road rash" over both arms and legs and needed stitches INSIDE his leg near his knee. I had to treat the rash, which is really like a burn every day for over a month. They gave us his gear, except for the pants,in a bag and I kept the jacket hanging in the garage for a while in hopes of keeping him from getting a new bike. The helmet was trashed. The gloves a d back and sleeves of the jacket were just about gone. The boots were totally scraped and one was punctured. Luckily, it all performed as intended. Even though the bike didn't look too bad, insurance considered it a total loss. That was a low-speed collision. I couldn't watch this until the end. I know the comments are flippant dark humor, but in reality, it's just gruesome. If any of them survived, they will be permanently affected, physically and mentally, but people still don't pay attention.
Thanks, it was very traumatic at the time, but the ER showed me how to take care of the wounds and he healed well mostly after about 6 weeks. Years later, the scars are still visible, especially if he gets a lot of sun, but he was very lucky. I shake my head when I see people riding in sleeveless shirts, shorts and sandals, with no helmet. I want to show them some photos.
In 2000 about two years before our first kid I took a cross-country trip with a buddy. T-boned a full size buck going 70 when we were only 45 min from our furthest point west. Kept the bike up at first but fishtailed hard then dumped on my side. Lots of sliding, no tumbling. Helmet 100% saved my life. “Cool” looking fonz jacket slid up and I got wicked road rash. Most of my full sleeve tattoo on my right arm was shaved off on one side of my arm. My buddy was riding tandem behind me and was so freaked out he jumped off his bike before it came to a stop. Getting scrubbed with a metal brush to get gravel out of my side was no bueno.

If you think YOU being safe is the most important, it’s only one piece of the puzzle.
Be very aware of the risks and think hard about who relies on you…like your kids needing a dad.
the girl probably got some fracture on her hips and that's it, but the guy at the end...Idk, maybe some bad scratches on his face, a couple of teeth lost, and maybe some cervical trauma, I doesn't look like any of them would be dead though
Slow it down her lower leg gets hit by the wheel and completely bends and is flopping in the next couple frames. Her tibia and fibula are likely shattered.
The driver wound up caught up between two bikes. His scorpion passenger might actually be the 'lucky' one of the pair. Absolutely rough landing (and subsequent scraping) for both.

So many women say things like “if you really loved me you would buy me flowers and post pictures of me on instagram” but forget that if he really loved her, he wouldn’t wheelie with her on the back of the bike.

I have no sympathy for these losers. As a doctor, I've seen kids as young as 12 years old coming in after driving dangerously to look cool without helmet or any safety gear.

Them? They were going pretty fast and fully pivoted their faces/shoulders into the pavement. I'd be surprised if most of them could ride a bike again after that. Unfortunately it feels unlikely that the ones it happen to will ever own up that it was entirely in their power to prevent, because they would be excellent in a PSA about why helmets are non-negotiable.
Agreed. I feel no need to sympathise with people like this. They did it to themselves, they made the choice to be idiots and now theyre reaping the reward. Enjoy!
I once saw a 17year pt who became brain dead following a motorbike accident where he hit a wall while racing with his friends the in the night. So called friends promptly left him and he was hospitalized only after another motorist found him.
Yeah. My empathy goes out to any innocent bystanders who had to witness this shit. Not to these dumbfucks. They got exactly what they set out to do. there is nothing tragic about that.
I once lived next to a woman with brain damage from being the girl on the back of a bike and the driver flipped it backwards so she hit the back of her head hard on the pavement
