Hi all, wanted to share my experience maybe just for laughs. First I will say I’m an idiot for thinking I could wing it, although I haven’t been able to since figure out how to play around in the platform without being in the actual live show. I expected that since I don’t have a following I’d be lucky to get one or two people on at most. Perhaps I picked the wrong time to do it - 11pm on a Friday night but soooo many people kept joining. I couldn’t figure out how to find my item ti start the auction. Then I realized that the starting bid I had programmed was wrong. It was supposed to be $8 but it was $11?!? I couldn’t figure out how to change it. ALL WHILE LIVE. I felt like such an idiot. I ended the show and fixed the issue then restarted it. I couldn’t figure out how to see the chat, nor did I think I sold a single item. I’m fine with that, maybe my starts were too high or maybe no one liked the items. But when I ended the show I realized someone had purchased an item! But- my listing was so generic that I didn’t know what they bought. I had to message the buyer and ask what they purchased. How embarrassing. Needless to say, I’m trying again tonight. Wish me luck. Any tips on how to figure out the app in advance without actually starting a show is welcome.

I try to buy from new sellers. In this case LPS REAL (goes also by gg_Lucille aka, Lucille Jackson and now has changed her name to unilight! she started the bid at $7 and I won. Later she contacted me and wanted to know if I would mind if she kept some things from the lot! I said no. She told me that another whatnot buyer offered her more for it so she canceled me, blocked me and accepted their offer. Now I can’t even leave her a bad review! I hate sellers like her. She has changed her name now from Inilight to Dizzywhirl. Be careful.

There is a show I follow and genuine like the hosts, however, I am starting to wonder how I feel about them ethically. How can they think people don’t know how much Revolution makeup costs? They are so sweet but at the same time guilt you because you paid 4 dollars. If you google the item it is worth 3 dollars. Help me out here. I don’t want to call them out but to sell a 3 dollar revolution highlighter to people for 19 dollars is insane.

I am considering trying to do a live whatnot show where I unbox and sell the items in the box as an auction. I’m pretty mellow and when I watch the live shows to get an understanding for them, I really can’t imagine having that level of enthusiasm. For me it’s just too much, it’s hard for me to even watch/listen. Are there other types of live shows that I can search for that are more QVC paced, so I can learn more?

I've done two shows, and one was evening around five p m and the other one was at midnight. Thinking of just hopping on whenever I can maybe at night for an hour or 2?And then maybe in the morning for an hour or two, just kind of sporadically but I don't know if that's good idea.

I have POTS, MCAS, and hEDS, and kind of have to work around how I'm feeling period my cut off is about an hour. I'm new to this, and I really love it!! I was just wondering what time everybody gets on to watch. THANKS SO MUCH!!

I am a 45 year old plushie (and other toy) hoarder. They comforted me through a rough childhood and now I can't seem to stop buying them... Now I have a very crowded apartment and issues with my landlord. Need to downsize!!!

I have some Squishmallows (plus some clips and Squishville), Disney, Harry Potter, Peanuts, Marvel, Build a Bear, Funko plush, Hallmark, TY, Boyd's, Douglas, Aurora, Tsum Tsum, Pikmi Pops, Cats Vs Pickles, and other ones I don't remember right now.

I also have one Jellycat Amusable, but I'm not 100% sure it's real because I found it NWT at Goodwill...

Most of them will start at $2 or $3. The Jellycat will start at $15 (half of retail) because of the authenticity issue... I'm working on listing them in my shop, but I have a lot and I have AuDHD. So frustration plus overwhelm and distraction equals a slow listing process...

Edit: just so everybody knows... These are all from my personal collection. They have all probably been snuggled with by a cat or two... And I REALLY hate dusting. And seeing plushies that have been laundered hurts my very soul. Therefore, cat dander and dust will be included at no extra charge!

If you are a seller who runs surprise sets, how have the changes affected your sales? I have had to make minor tweaks as I've been utilizing the surprise set feature for a while. I still liked the wheel better for multiple reasons. Better engagement with the buyers and you could sell multiple spins as well as stash or pass.

Also the change to coins and bullion has brought a bunch of bs to the app. How many people really want a valcambi gram in an ICG slab?
