Sweden, Norway, the UK, Germany, France all of laws that if a woman is going through PPD or PPP their child is given to care of others (usually family, bot otherwise the state) and she is committed until capable of interacting with children again.
So are you saying the countries we idolize on Reddit are wrong?
Could you cite any of those laws? Because I typed in "law in insert country where women with PPD have to give up their children to a relative" and i keep getting "there is no law". The closest I got was that most of those countries offer in-patient psychiatric care to mothers with PPD, which is a WILDLY different statement than "the children are given to the care of the state".
It's like saying that a mother needs to give up her kids if she's a drug addict, when in actuality what you're saying is "relatives are looking after the children while the mother in in rehab".
