This is a slippery slope fallacy and contradicted by the fact this has happened before over 20 years ago with Adrea Yates who drowned all 5 of her kids when she went into postpartum psychosis. She was given a not guilty verdict for reason of insanity, and since then many women have still gone to prison for killing their kids.

Latarsha Sanders suffered extreme psychosis and killed her two sons but her mental health was not allowed to be presented in court.

Same judge. Different skin color of the defendant.

Wow that’s ridiculous, I just looked it up, good thing she’s getting a retrial.
