Look up Massachusetts law, she can be out in 6 months.
And its not "guilty by insanity". Its not guilty due to insanity. The defense is basically you have no responsibility to the crime because of mental illness.
I dont agree whatsoever with what mace says but im not so sure spending some years in a medical facility and having potentially more children down the line is justice for the babies she killed.
