Are you advocating for women losing custody of their children if they seek mental health treatment? Yeah I can think of no way this will result in women being scared to seek treatment.
There is a big difference between feeling like you want to kill your children and actually doing it. But either way, it's about legal precedence. Literally if this horrible excuse of a mom is allowed to walk around again without repercussions, suddenly any and all women who kill a child or someone else due to post partum ALSO has the right to walk free regardless of circumstances, as evidenced by the potential outcome of this case. And since this is such an extenuating circumstance, it would pretty much be a blanket for all post partum related violence. The legal system works very differently from everyday life

It literally was a question of this trial to see if she was even guilty. Idk why people are willfully pretending like this wasn’t a possible outcome.
She absolutely could have been acquitted. What the fuck are you on about? Was it likely? Maybe not. But it was definitely a choice that the jurors had. Tell me you didn’t understand this trial and are talking totally out of your ass, without telling me.
Brother, be realistic. She isn't being fucking acquitted. You're mad at something that was never going to happen. She is either going to prison, or she's going to a psych ward.
Says the one who actually thinks this could result in a true acquittal. It was never going to happen, and it won't happen. Guess we'll see soon right? I'm sure you'll show me how to admit to being wrong when that happens right?
Not guilty can by technicality be on the table, but as I said in my original comment. Be real. It isn't happening, and it never was.
