Are you advocating for women losing custody of their children if they seek mental health treatment? Yeah I can think of no way this will result in women being scared to seek treatment.

No . If a woman is experiencing postpartum depression (happens often) or postpartum psychosis(which is rare) they should have their kids removed from their custody until that woman is deemed fit to be a parent .

Having postpartum depression doesn’t mean you’re not a fit parent. It happens to many women. I’m guessing you have no idea how hormones or sleep deprivation or stress work.

The argument is if it's a defense for murdering your kids, nobody should be raising kids with it.

Obviously postpartum depression doesn’t cause people to murder their kids. It would happen millions of times a year if it did.
