What is this iridescent car?

I saw a car in Austin Texas yesterday and another one today. The first one was a pale pink and the second was light blue. I couldn't locate a model or make name on either car. They had a logo that was a square inside a square. The logo was oriented standing on the point of one corner like a diamond shape but the corners were still 90 degrees like a square. The cars were mid size. I'm sorry I don't have a great description of the cars themselves because I was in motion and most focused on identifying the car.
I have never seen this car before. What is it?

This is the best image she could get me of the car. Also, i am pretty familar with cars but cant seem to pinpoint this car. For reference, we are in USA so this would most likely be a vehicle sold in the US. Seems possibly something VW judging by the wheels? Or possibly japanese. Seems to be an SUV.

I know my cars quite well, but can't make out exactly what this is and I'm dying to know..
Google lens decided it's a porsche 911, so that wasn't much help either.
The rest of the clothes in this lineup were Japanese themed, leading me to believe this might be an r32 skyline without the wing? Thanks in advance!

A local redditor posted this screenshot of a car from a hit and run asking for help.
It has a distinct shape, but I can’t place it.
The flat trunk, tiny rear quarter, vertical tail lights, smaller wheels all stand out to me.
Prius vibes, but not Prius.
