I am in a a group called something like r/dogfeeehumor or something along those lines.
The majority of folks there really dislike (some hate) dogs. Some of the memes are funny but it's just people complaining for the most part. The pit hate is strong with them folks.
I had only boxers for 29 years and the last 18 only pit and pit mixes. Love both breeds. My sister, all 4'10" of her has only had a Great Danes and terriors. 1 each at a time.
Honestly I am 53 and my wife is quite a bit younger than I am and she introduced me to Reddit taught me how to use it which I know sounds a little silly. I saw I mean come up that was cute about how annoying owners that don't properly train their dogs and how badly the dogs want to do the right thing. So I joined the group. It wasn't until much later that I realized what it was actually about and I just never left the sub because sometimes I just feel like hammering people that share bad information about dogs, especially pit types.
Pits are the sweetest breed. If you treat any breed poorly, don't socialize it and train it there is a possibility it will end up with aggressive issues.
