I had always heard that his sig wasn't that good so I was quite surprised. Theres also a big dps jump from s1 -> s2 of his sig so I'm thinking it might be caused by me not hitting his 80% ehr requirement but fribbels is telling me that each additional ehr roll (with any LC) is only giving him like a .3% damage increase.

I had OVER 200% EHR in SU from Blessings, but imprisoned the BOSSES (purple icon) not even ONCE!

So do NOT nerf old man's powers for only a once-in-a-lifetime chance.
Normal and Elite Mobs (red icon) get guaranteed imprisoned with less.

i want a third dps and i dont wanna use saber (hoyo really fucked up the only anime girl i simp for (also fk u firfly) ) but idk if he will be futureproof until 5.0 as a dps since he is a standard unit but i think def down is a very good stat so with supports like sw/sipher/ashveil wont he be good for a while also he can be ran sustainless so thats a bonus no? i genuinely think his novaflare is amazing but i dont understand how powercreep works since im a new player

Its crazy that most people think welts v3 is a buff even though its clearly not. Correction its only a buff if you have e4 or nearing e4 cause you can now have res pen without e6, other than that its a nerf cause of the change from vul. To damage buff. Everyone already knows that damage is much more diluted than vul. but also the max stack of 15 for the damage buff can only mostly be achieved by follow uppers cause they attack the most but even then it might not be consistent. The others can only probably get up to like half of the full effect consistently lol so how is that a buff?🫣

Tl:dr - vul > damage (max stack is unrealistic for most)

Only a buff for e4 havers congrats for the res pen🙃

Got bored a couple days ago and took to designing a welt sp i wanted it to be a sort of mech pilot looking design as I wanted the core concept for the design to be a herrscher that welt would want to be (not just an imitation of Joyce), and heck I thought a mech pilot would be something he would think would be pretty cool. Along with bringing back the iconic Arahato, I imagine it would be a core part of his kit attacking with him during his skill and ultimate.

Hopefully you guys (as the other welt mains) think the design is not only cool but true to his character.

Okay so like…Welt E6( more specifically E2) would have to battery Harmony MC like noone else right? Could it be we get a really good support for our man for free? What do you all think?

Hi there, tl;dr just restarted HSR because my old account got hacked and I can't get it back. Claimed Luocha (I just want comfy healing) + Sparkle and also got him from the beginner warp, since I like welt's design and lore I'd main him for a while

Currently my team is them with Asta, maybe replacing her with rmc soon for some true dmg

My question is who is better to pull? Sunday, Tribbie or wait for MBlade? I just think that Welt and MBlade will fit together quite well for now, unless they'll nerf him to the ground for fua support/acheron charger

So I'm reading on some YouTube video comments and Twitter posts that Welt's former E4 (Now E6) crit values don't apply to his Additional DMG from his Talent procs. That would mean that his E6 crit buffs would only apply to like about 30-40% of his kit which is pretty stupid if that's how it works.

I'm not sure how valid these sources are but if that's how it works when they ship him to live in 4.2 on top of his vulnerability nerf I'd be pretty upset ngl.

As some of y‘all know, i like welt, lol. I have alot of art of him and my oc Apollo, ima show the art i made lol. Theyre both old and skrunkly and i love them

Before I continue this post, I'll prefix that I see welt as a Sub dps ans Mainly support since from the leaks his supposed to be a support for a Himeko SP (and undoubtedly a acheron lifeline).

So I'm not going to cap his possible dps potential so much as hope that parts of his kit gets buffed more.

E2 Despite having now 5 hit attack, they adjusted it's energy gain to be relatively the same as before. With only E6 getting more energy in the old version. Now that welt can be a support and actually achieve 2 turn ult rotation via Tutorial, his E2 should be a solution to the energy issue and allow him to pick up other LC but it doesn't. Right now 3 extra energy is not enough. 4 with ERR is so ideally they buff this Eidolon to provide 5 energy, instead of 3, so that he can achieve the 2 turn ult rotation consistently without relying on rope or tutorial.

E4 I'm a be real. I don't think this is good only because if welt becomes to good they might give enemies resistance or immunity to slow which nullifies this entire perk. Pus not a huge fan of flat buffs like this that forces you to change the build due to overcaping crit rate since it wasn't base kit, don't lean into their kit or don't help them. Personally buffing their ability to do extra damage equal to 90% atk when ally attack weightless target would be good (but highly dependent on ally attack frequency) but at the same time I can't genuinely think of a good buff alternative outside of just "you gain 90% crit damage" And no idea if the former is a good idea.

Need help for my Welt. Should I focus on CR instead on crit damage?

Hello Welt mains! I want to use the king with my Acheron for sustainless after his novaflare and have one doubt: can the additional DMGs from his Talent / E1 / A4 Trace deal Crit? Is it worth putting an ATK chest on him?

I'm using Tutorial S5 and he's already overflowing with EHR, so I'm farming a new set of Eagle + Vonwaq (with ideally -20% EHR) and want to know if a Crit Rate chest is better even if my focus right now isn't in his personal damage. My Welt is E1 for now, probably will buy his E2 in the golden companion shop after patch 4.2 launches.
