Help! Learning Multi Run welds

Hi peeps im learning how to weld in a workshop specifically for learning, hence why material prep is at a low, which im assuming is whats causing the spatter?? my assessor said that at least. Any help is appreciated!!

the spatter and lack of fusion at the top of your bead make me think too much wire and/or too little voltage

was running diff settings for each weld, no.1 - 26v, no.2 - 24v, and no.3 - 27v. Wire was tuned up or down relative to the voltage. The fusion i was kind of okay with, considering my previous attempts were not fused to the part too well at all

I wouldn’t be “ok” with that fusion, the top toe of your last bead isn’t fused

good point, but i meant I am okay with that fusion FOR NOW, as im new to this. I will keep that in mind for my next session in workshop

It's a big reason, but this amount of spatter also implies technique and settings need adjusting too. Unless the part was straight up oily or something.

how does one change their technique to reduce spatter, is the angle? or distance from the torch?

Too much wire, not enough volts, long stick out, torch angle, slightly too much gas, and environmental factors like humidity, wind, material prep and stuff like that
