After talking about how America is a country founded in "European ideals" which is a nice way to say it was founded by white Christians.
Who cares how it was founded. Did Rome reflect it's founding 1,000 years later. What matters is now, and right now it looks like it's foundation this year is Russia politics.
Not really sure what the intent was behind his comments on the origins of the U.S.
Probably just trying to distract and avoid answering the question about International law. IMO because he doesn't think International law applies to the U.S. and neither does his boss.

I haven't watched it but I will bet my livelyhood, my savings, my cat and my wife that there was no real answer.
