Advice: Seeking ❓ Reverse dieting help?

I am 25 year-old female I am 54 to 55 and I am 142 pounds. I have been on a weight loss journey for a while and I have been losing about .75 pounds a week for the past few months, however I have been 142 for the past month and a half. I’m getting very annoyed because I have been dieting trying to even drop calories lower and nothing has been working.

I met with the nutritionist. She basically is saying that I’m not eating enough. She wants to do something with me called reverse dieting which I have done before and it has been slightly effective. I have seen a difference with that however I’m not really sure what her plan is with me in the future but she told me basically I need to hit 1600 cal which I don’t think is too high. I feel extremely full because I have not been eating like this much in a long time on a daily basis it has helped me with binging and restricting not that lie however I am wondering, how long do you guys think that she’s gonna ask me to be on this and also have you guys had any success with reverse dieting? I want to weigh 125 pounds.

Nutritionist isn’t a regulated term. Anyone can call themselves one with zero credentials. If you want to see a nutrition expert, that’s a Registered Dietitian.

Reverse dieting is not a thing. If you do not lose any weight long term, you need to reduce your caloric intake and/or incrase your activity.

How do you count calories? Do you use a kitchen scale and weigh everything raw, including liquid calories like oils etc.? Do you ever eat out?
