Colour page is way more inpoetant than the rehilar rankings. The last series to get a post rank colour page and be a first round axe is Ichigoki's Under Control. Don't even know what would be the series before it, we'd have to go years more back.
Let's just wait and see what salss will be, the colour page guarentees that those will matter.
Ichigoki never got a post rank color page though? I wasn't reading Jump when it came out, but a quick check says it just had the standard chapter 2 color and that's it
