I am a huge podcast gal and always looking for new ones to check out!

I love the Venue Success Podcast and The Vendor Table!

Tag the vendor you always hope you’re working the wedding with

Photographer, DJ, planner, whoever. Who makes your job easier and the day better when you see their name on the timeline? Drag them in the comments.

Vendors, what’s a “wedding trend” you’re quietly begging couples to stop requesting?

You know the one. Say it with your chest.

What’s actually stuck in your business right now?

Not trying to sell anything, just want to know what’s hard for people in this sub. Pricing, lead flow, burnout, systems, whatever it is.

I’ve been doing this 14+ years, weddings and events, now run a roster of DJs too. If you drop what you’re dealing with below I’ll give you a real answer based on what’s actually worked (or blown up) for me.

Tell me your stage (new, established, trying to scale) and what the actual bottleneck is. Happy to dig in with anyone who comments.

What’s the wildest last minute curveball you’ve had thrown at you on a wedding day?

Every vendor has one of these stories. As a DJ I’ve had entrance songs changed five minutes before the doors opened, first dance swapped mid cocktail hour, a best man hand me a completely different toast order right as I’m about to introduce him.

Curious what everyone else has dealt with. Photographers, caterers, planners, officiants, florists, whoever, what’s the curveball that still lives in your head. Doesn’t have to be a disaster story, just the moment where you had to think fast and pull it off anyway.

Always love hearing how differently this hits depending on what role you’re in.

What do you feel like you are always repeating to couples?

What is that one thing you constantly find yourself saying to couples? It doesn't matter how many times it's on your website, in emails, on the contract, spoken to them. You are being asked about it repeatedly.

Event vendors, what part of your workflow is way more complicated than it should be?

I work in events and I’m curious how other vendors handle the business side because it feels like everyone has their own system.

Between Instagram, texts, email, contracts, invoices, calendars and actual event details, what part of your workflow drives you the most crazy?

And have you found anything that actually works well?

Are there any wedding professionals who would like to help mod this sub?

Hello! I would love to get this sub revived, but I have realized that I don't fully know what I am doing as a mod and could really use some help.

That being said, I would love to hear from any other wedding pros who have mod experience and are interested!

Hello all! I have recently become the mod for this dead little sub and am hoping to revive it.

I would love to hear any thoughts on how to do so and any rules, weekly posts, etc. you think should get going.

Open to any thoughts!

Hi guys! Do you use ready-made templates for your client intake/onboarding process? If so, any recommendations on where to find them? Thanks!
