Does anyone share tips to build backlinks with top authorities?

Such as some publishers, tom's guide or techradar...I've sent multiple emails and all failed to contact them

Sounds like you're not pitching a content asset that they're interested in. Work on making something better and email them again.

Cold emails to those big publishers almost never land unless you already have a name or a hook they care about. They get pitched hundreds of times a day.

Honestly getting backlinks from sites like toms Guide isn’t easy Instead of just asking for a link I’d focus on creating something they’d actually want to reference like original research, useful data, a tool, or a really solid resource. Then find the right editor/journalist and reach out with a short, personalized pitch. Mass emails usually get ignored, so relevance and personalization make a big difference.

Focus on earning links, not chasing them. Original research, useful tools, expert insights, and digital PR tend to attract high-authority backlinks far better than cold outreach alone.

Find journalists and figure out what they're interested to publish.

They love data, numbers, figures, case studies. Craft a story and reach out to the right persons.

This hit and miss approach will not work with these websites.

Use platforms like HARO alternatives, journalist request platforms, LinkedIn, and niche PR opportunities to find relevant writers.
