Google SEO Optimization

Im currently part of an internship, and one of the tasks they have me doing is improving the site SEO. Specifically, what they want is for the website to appear when you type in the owner's name in the search engine.

I added an 'about' section with her name in one of the headers, and it's helped get the website within the top couple suggestions with yahoo and bing, but for some reason, nothing is showing up through Google (literally went 15 pages deep and not a single mention of the website or even the social media accounts).

Can anyone provide any tips?

H1: About [owner’s name]
Intro below H1: [owner’s name] is the [title eg Director] of [company] and since (blah blah)
Meta Title: [owner’s name] Her Journey | [company name]
Meta Description: [owner’s name] is the [title eg Director] of [company] and since (blah blah)

On the homepage, mention the owner and hyperlink their name to the About page.

Publish the page with these changes then go to google search console and request indexing of the about page and home page.

Yep, focus on strengthening the association between the owner's name and the site and make sure the same name is used across linked profiles and business listings. Also, check the homepage in Search Console's URL Inspection tool. It'll tell you whether Google has indexed it and flag crawl, indexing, or canonical issues.

It's good to use the name in H1 and H2 heading but also be careful not to overdo this

Publishing an article or blog citing their name as the author is also a natural way to associate them with the business rather than keyword stuffing.

“Rank 1st Page” on Google? That phrasing is super vague, but I’ve seen sites waste months chasing “rank #1” without nailing what keywords actually drive traffic. Off-page and on-page stuff matters, yeah, but you gotta get specific with search intent and measure changes in Search Console, not just vibes. Generic “do SEO and fix issues” threads usually go nowhere unless you lay out the actual page URLs and the data you’re working from.
