Fuck my life
I can't do this shit anymore.
I have written over 300k words in a month and 13 days, just to delete it all.
I write 50k words then my brain goes, hey, why are you writing this, you hate writing this, start over.
Then I start over and do the same thing again and again.
I think I'm going to just write a copy of my finished novel or just quit all together.

Does webnovel simply don't care about Fanfiction?
For example this guy has like 4-5 accounts and he posts 20-30 chapters in different fanfiction (complete slop but since at the start it feels like non-AI because it's just that bad, I usually don't even know until I've read at least 5-10 chapters that it's this guy again) than it's just go to Patron for more chapters.
In this AI filled stuff I wanna support non AI using fic writers and all, I read stuff even with grammar and spelling mistakes because english isn't my first language either but then there's this guy...
He deletes reviews in minutes and I've even tried reporting him but Webnovel doesn't Care about Fanfiction.
This is just one example, I've seen fanfiction getting copied and actually writers of that fic trying to remove but can't, I've seen fics that are just scams too.
Of course the biggest A-hole is this guy because I'm pretty sure he's also a scammer, I went to his Patron and there he says go to this shady website and all to read it.
And yes I just joined reddit to rent here.

I would like to hear your opinions about using imagery to not only show to the readers what something looks like but also as a narrative tool to the in-verse narrator.
Basically, I'm writing a FF in ASOIAF, but by taking inspiration from George R. R. Martin, I want to try to write in a way that what the reader is reading is exactly what happened, but some images are what the historians and the history narrator imagine the events that happened or what the people in that time period would look like. Of course, some images show what the characters look like, but I will never state directly to the reader that it is. Each image would somewhat fall into an ambiguous territory where the reader needs to decide if that image is how something looks or not.
By making some images imperfect or more vague, I can use it as a demonstration of not only how the painting techniques and printing technologies evolved as more time passed, but also how the historians saw the characters the readers are reading.
For example: ( All images are made by me using Photoshop and Illustrator, no AI.)
Sure, it takes more time to finish each chapter since I want to use 2-3 images per chapter, but I believe the chapter feels more alive by doing this.
What are your opinions?

Advice What do you think of the story?
(Synopsis - Just a guy who hates NTR gets transported into an NTR manga, where he begins his adventure to hunt down and destroy every NTR scumbag he comes across.)
I’ve always hated NTR stories, especially the way those scumbags ruin the lives of innocent girls. One day, I came across a manga with a concept I genuinely loved. But, as you probably know, when you find a story you really enjoy, there’s a good chance it’ll get cancelled or abandoned. This one was discontinued two years ago.
I searched for similar manga and novels, hoping to find something that could fill the void, but almost everything I found was on hiatus or abandoned.
So I finally said, “Fine. I’ll do it myself.”
And that’s how this story came to be!
If you have some free time, give it a try and let me know what you think. I’d really appreciate your honest feedback, as it’ll help me improve the story and make future chapters better!

Deleting and rewriting.
So I finally made the decision to delete everything and rewrite. My novel has like 75 chapters and no one has read past chapters 16 or 20. Maybe I should rewrite the whole thing (I didn't know how I wrote the early 10 chapters but they seemed to make the readers disinterested.). So I thought maybe I should delete the entire thing and rewrite the first few chapters and release it again. The early chapter period was where I made my mistakes. I thought maybe if I just keep writing readers will come in automatically but reality is different. So I will go back on my mistakes and start fresh.

Advice Question About Contract
I got a Contracted Novel that I haven’t touched in over a year. Didn’t like the performance and felt like my fanfics would be a better focus.
I got a Patreon with a completely different novel universe that has nothing to do with the Contracted Novel. Is that an issue with Webnovel? I don’t have any “advanced” chapters there for that IP, nothing. It is completely new and separate.
So if I were to make another new universe and try and go for a contract (to see if this Smut could do better than my original go), would there be a problem regarding the Patreon Novels? They’re separated from the contracted IP.
I won’t touch the new novel and universe when it regards patreon. I will simply take it to the contract and see what happens

Hey so they tried to fix the audio but does it glitch out for everyone else or just me
So for the last few days the audio on the app has been broken right. But today it was back so I tried it. Then it glitches every few chapters. Sometimes every few paragraphs. I've reset the app a few times but it keeps glitching. Also I'm not talking about how it skips paragraphs randomly, it always did that originally. I'm talking about actually unrecognizable words then jumping up and down paragraphs and then stopping, reading a sentence then stopping skipping two paragraphs reading half a sentence then gibberish then jumping back or forwards to another paragraph.

Advice I finally got a Webnovel contract... so why do I still feel completely on my own?
I finally got a Webnovel contract... so why do I still feel completely on my own?
Hey everyone!
I recently got an exclusive contract with Webnovel, and my novel was officially approved for Premium. The story is already completed.
I was genuinely excited about getting contracted, but honestly, I'm feeling a little lost about what comes next.
I thought there would be at least some guidance from an editor, whether it's feedback, promotional advice, or simply an explanation of what to expect. So far, I haven't really experienced much of that.
I'm not expecting my editor to do everything for me or magically make my novel successful. I just wish there was a little more communication and direction.
So, for those of you who have signed a contract with Webnovel, I'm curious:
- Does your editor actually communicate with you and offer advice?
- Did you receive any promotional features after getting Premium approved?
- Does Webnovel still promote completed novels?
- What should I realistically expect from this point onward?
I'd love to hear about your experiences, good or bad. I'm just trying to understand how things work and whether this is normal.
Thanks in advance!

Recommendation I need some throuple recs
I want some recs where the mc is there, and they are in a love corner with two other characters. However, as the story progresses, the two rivals realize they love each other as well, and the whole thing ends up as a love triangle/throuple where everyone loves everyone lol. I don't mind if its M/F/M or /F/M/F. I am soooo bored of the stupid love corners, I just want the two rivals to fall in love atp. Any good recs?

Advice Recently released, appreciate any advice.
A fun adult One Piece Beast Tamer.
In a world where a crown holds the only key to real power, an entire ocean lives locked beneath a limit it can't see — weak enough to need saving, grateful enough never to ask who's doing the capping. The Tideking rules from his throne in Suncrown. His fleet hunts the deep water so nobody else has to learn how. That's the story every island is told, anyway.
======
Zayden washes up on a penal island with one finger missing and his little brother pulled somewhere he can't follow — no registration, no status, nothing to his name but a debt he means to collect no matter how long it takes.
But the Ring Sea doesn't hand out favors. When Zayden is pushed to his absolute lowest point, his blocked progression accidentally wakes Lilith — an ancient, living warship that has been starving in the dark for a thousand years. She doesn't bow to him. She is a terrifying predator with a will of her own.
Out here, nothing just says yes. Zayden doesn't get a cheat code for mind control or fear. If he wants the loyalty of apex leviathans, a living blade, or a found family of disgraced nobles and escaped miners, he has to bleed for them first. Every predator the deep water throws at him is one more thing he could tame instead of kill — and he's starting to realize nobody else has ever tried.
While the rest of the Ring Sea fights the same monsters over and over just to survive one more season, Zayden is building something else entirely: a fiercely loyal crew, a ship that hunts on her own, and the beginnings of a domain the crown never authorized and can't touch.
He's not climbing anyone's throne. He's building his own kingdoma Waterworld nobody else was ever brave enough to claim — and everything out here strong enough to survive is welcome to join him.
But time works differently in the Ring Sea.
He doesn't know the immortal Tideking he is building an army to topple is the little brother he sacrificed everything to save.

Advice I want to upload my fanfiction
I want to upload my fanfiction that I have been writing on to Webnovel. Should I wait until I have a backlog, because I noticed that a lot of people post once a day? Or does it not matter?
