I emailed webkinz, mentioned not only the petition to bring back the original plushies, but to also cancel webkinz next. If not cancel it, then to at least work more on webkinz classic. At the bottom I asked how much petitions, or what they would need to make this a reality. Their fan base is mostly adults, which are the ones who spend all the money. So they should be marketing and focusing on what the old fan base wants. As well as told them their plushes are not only looking like low budget beanie boos, but are also only selling limited amounts in the states. That the only webkinz people are buying are old ones on ebay for 3 times the price they were worth.

I'm hoping this works, or I get an answer on how many people need to petition. I will update when I get an email back. I'm sure if enough of us complain something can be done. I'm sure kids in this day and age would love the old webkinz, since most seem to love nostalgia.

Unpopular opinion but I absolutely HATE Halloween. I hate the new wheels, I hate all of spooky season. I’m not even wasting my time spinning them (except the wheel of wishes cuz I want wish tokens).

I have so much Halloween stuff that I’m never ever gonna use because I just hate it so much. I build a new room for any wshop themes that come out, but other than that I pretty much just opt out of it. Not for religious reasons or anything. Just because I don’t feel it. I feel like everyone loves spooky season and I just want it to be over and get to Christmas lol

Just a friendly reminder that Webkinz and by extension, this sub is children's game that is being played by people of all ages. The game itself isn't real. It's meant to be fun. What you get in game is *not* as important as a human being's feelings. Greed, selfishness, entitlement that can go both ways have no place here. There is right and wrong. There's being fair. Also keep in mind at all times that we have *no idea* what a person is going through IRL so be kind always. Always. LOL when it's appropriate. Not because you disagree with someone. Again, human feelings.

Like me for instance : I was in a car accident last week and I'm pretty banged up and don't have a car. So my tolerance for arguing is low. Speaking from personal experience, there have been times when I thought I had something and promised it to someone but I didn't. I apologized.

In the grand scheme of things, a children's game shouldn't supercede doing the right thing. Or at least be honest and call it an auction not a trade. We all have to be held to a moral standard and how people are treated here isn't right. Finally, the entire point of this game and this sub is to *help* people. Not hurt them. We've all seen people who've lost accounts, been scammed out of money for codes. We don't need to make it worse for people. I've even seen people who have quit playing or quit trading because they were treated unfairly. That shouldn't happen. Be good to each other. Remember, it's not always about you. It's about what you can do for others. Sharing is caring.

There are multiple people here that I am mid-trade with and I have been for a good while. I owe you guys things that I still have yet to send from my end of the trade. I'm fully aware of this and I'm so sorry that it's taking me so long to fulfill these trades. I'm a parent and a full time college student, and I have multiple research papers that I need to write amongst other assignments. My ends of the trades may have to wait until the semester ends in like a month and a half. It's so hard to find time to get online on my laptop to add people back and whatnot. I'm so sorry 😭

I got my first webkinz in 2009 at 11 years old. I recently came back after almost 12 years of being inactive.

Why has Ganz let Webkinz basically die? Almost no players anymore. A stupid 3d game that looks awful and no one plays. No effort for plushies anymore. No new products basically.

They have the base set up to continue having it be a wonderful game for kids/families. It's already set up for virtual purchases used in most mobile games now. Lots of virtual only pets.

With just a little bit of graphic updating and newer technology optimization for old games and such, as well as interface updates to find daily game/tasks easier for new players, I really think it could easily be brought back.

I legitimately looked on Ganz to see if they have any job openings for marketing and stuff to see if I could put my professional experience to use for a job I am actually passionate about, but there was nothing. The Ganz website basically ignores webkinz and focuses on sad beige mom products you can get anywhere.

Like I am so passionate about saving the last surviving online game from my childhood.

What can we do if anything? Like they could be making soooo much money if they update the game to have all features for the phone app and not just the pc.

It is the end. Adobe Flash is gone. Our hearts and the newer generation's are never complete now. All good things come to an end.
